Take a walk with me in Phuket.

Spectacular scenery, stunning tropical sunsets and warm blue sea awaits you at Asia’s most popular beach destination.
This fun island provides an unbeatable combination of perfect silky soft white palm-lined beaches, superb hospitality and great value accommodation!
Whether it's world class diving in the Andaman Sea, golf at world-standard championship courses or exciting eco-adventures in tropical forests, Phuket is a place to extend your horizons.

Phuket lies off the west coast of Southern Thailand in the Andaman Sea, approximately 890km from Bangkok. It is Thailand’s largest island at 550sq km and is surrounded by many smaller islands that add a further 70 sq km to its total land area.
Phuket is quite hilly. So travelling will be mainly moving up and down along the hills from one location to another.
Phuket is one of the more population location for Singaporeans. Mainly because of its nearest to Singapore, cheap budget flights and of cause the abundance of many gorgeous dive sites found in the Andaman Sea.

Phuket has the second highest per capita income of any province in Thailand outside of Bangkok.
Tourism has dominated the island’s economy for the past two decades. Each year, over 3 million visitors arrive to enjoy Phuket’s natural splendor and many amenities.

Even when Tsunami swept away almost 40% of Phuket, its economy recovered pretty fast. In less than 2year the island is filled with new hotels, new restaurants and many tourists again.
Patong, the main hangout area in phuket is once again filled with water activities by day and night activities by night.
Patong is the place to be at if you want everything. Shopping, beach, food, massage, etc etc.
Many tourist who seek for lots of fun and happenings will choose to stay at Patong.
Those who wants a quieter holiday but not too away from the crowd can choose to stay at Karon or Kata.
And who those who wants to have serenity and seclusion can stay away from the main beach.
Anyway in Phuket has a hotel/resort/villa for all budget travellers.
Those who can afford more can spend about 500USD a night and live in really Big really ocean facing villa that even has their really big private pools. Those who do not wana spend too much time in their accomodation can choose to stay at backpackers which cost no more than 20USD a night with really decent amenities.

I went to Phuket during the 2nd week of July.
It's really cool to go during off peak season. Mainly because it's monsoon therefore many tourists do not wana travel to Phuket. Personally i do not like crowds so low peak season is the best for me.
There are many resorts that provide really kickass swimming pool so i'm cool with being unable to swim at the beach.
I stay at Twinpalms Hotel located at Surin Beach. Its about 25min away from town.
The beach is really pretty and most importantly quiet.

I almost have the whole beach(picture above) to myself. For 250baht i get an hour full body Thai Massage right on the beach.
It's really a heavenly way to drift away from the world. If such comforting massage, chilling wind blowing and the music of waves crashing upon the shore. Nothing beats that moment.

Twinpalms;Phuket’s most exciting and stylish contemporary resort. Brilliant modern tropical interiors, fabulous restaurants, enormous swimming pools, lushly landscaped tropical water gardens ,thoughtful unpretentious service.

Twinpalms Phuket is located approx 150meters from the beach, which produces a peaceful and exclusive environment.
Surin beach is one of Phuket’s most beautiful and least crowded beaches. Located on the sought after west coast of Phuket on a stretch, which is often referred to as “millionaires’ row”. Luxury hotels are within walking distance, as are several very upmarket private residential developments. From the airport it takes about 25 minutes to reach Twinpalms Phuket.
The pool area is huge - over 1,600 sq m. A 50m lap pool fulfilling international competition standards.
And a Lagoon pool - 15 guest rooms connect directly to the pool via their private outdoor areas.
